What You'll Do

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will successfully position the value proposition of our solutions in the market by leveraging their knowledge of market needs and the competitive landscape. They will effectively partner with a cross functional team to ensure alignment of the problem our solution solves and the benefit messaging that is delivered.


Outcomes You’ll Own

  1. Develop and Refine Go-to-Market Strategies: Craft strategic approaches for launching new products and existing products, including market segmentation, targeting, and positioning to maximize market impact.
  2. Define and Oversee Operational Readiness: Ensure that all operational aspects are aligned with product launches, from initial strategy to execution, to guarantee smooth market entry.
  3. Collaborate Closely with Marketing and Sales: Work in tandem with the Sales and Marketing teams to strategize on prospects, ensuring a unified approach to market penetration and customer engagement.
  4.  Document and Communicate Launch Requirements: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document necessary requirements and strategies for product launches, ensuring comprehensive preparation and execution.
  5. Develop Relevant Content: to be used for all go-to-market channels and materials
  6. Create and Update Product Messaging: Develop and maintain clear and compelling product positioning and naming, ensuring consistency across all marketing and sales materials.
  7. Represent the Company at Industry Events: Act as a public face for the company at both company-sponsored and external events, such as seminars and conferences, enhancing brand visibility and networking opportunities.
  8. Engage in Partner Visits: Engage with partners through direct visits to strengthen relationships and gather firsthand insights on market needs and opportunities.
  9. Must be proactive and hands-on, personally driving tasks to completion rather than solely delegating responsibilities
  10. Monitor and Report on Success Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product launches and marketing initiatives. Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders on progress and areas for improvement.
  11. Integrate Customer and Market Feedback: Collect and analyze feedback from customers, partners, and market research. Use these insights to refine product marketing strategies, messaging, and roadmap priorities.
  12. Commit to Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends, marketing best practices, and product knowledge. Foster ongoing training and development for yourself and the team to ensure market leadership.


What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Advanced level abilities in the following areas:
    • Leadership, Communication, Organization, Interpersonal Skills, Conflict Management/Resolution, Problem-Solving, Negotiation, Decision-Making, Analytical Skills, Advanced Office-based Applications (Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Diagramming, Slide Presentation, etc.)
  • Must possess exceptional copywriting skills, with a proven track record of creating compelling, clear, and persuasive content
  • Strength in gathering research and data about the market, customers, and competitors and synthesizing this into actionable.
  • Must be able to clearly articulate design needs for graphic requests across various channels
  • Deep experience measuring, and tuning, product marketing program effectiveness
  • Advanced ability to communicate the rationale for the program measurements and the impact to the business
  • Advanced level abilities in the following areas:

What Will Make Us REALLY Love you

  • Pragmatic Level 1-6 Preferred
  • Demonstrable experience successfully repositioning a product company in a market
  • 4+ years Gathering and Documenting Launch Readiness Requirements (as a PLM or equivalent role)
  • 4+ years of copywriting experience
  • 2+ years Communication Development
  • 4+ years Business Process Documentation
  • 2+ years Team Leadership in a Professional Setting
